Company NewsSFM awarded Wellness by Design Award for second year BLOOMINGTON, Minn., August 14, 2012—For the second year in a row, SFM has been awarded a gold level Wellness by Design Award by Hennepin County, which is Minnesota's largest county by population and home of SFM's headquarters.
"SFM places strong emphasis on wellness in the workplace," said Vice President of Human Resources Jody Rogers. "We work hard to encourage employees to take their health seriously. We are starting to see evidence that it is paying off. Last year was one of the best years we've had for wellness at SFM. As a result of our efforts we had no increase in health insurance premiums for our employees—an amazing accomplishment. We can now say we've seen firsthand that promoting wellness in the workplace does pay off," said Rogers. SFM shares wellness techniques with SFM policyholders through its Wellness Works webpage.
