| 100 percent of SFM’s large accounts renewed in '05 | ||
A remarkable 100 percent of accounts over $200,000 renewed with SFM in 2005. Pat Johnson, SFM president and CEO, sent letters to the top executives of SFM’s largest accounts to thank them for continuing to choose SFM for their workers’ compensation programs. “An organization is a direct reflection of the customers it serves. For State Fund Mutual this is even more important, as our customers are also our owners. We are incredibly proud that every single one of our large account customers renewed their coverage with SFM in 2005,” Johnson said. Agents were copied on the letters. |

SFM plans to host its annual agent golf outing Monday, Sept. 18, at Rush Creek Golf Course in Maple Grove, Minn. The outing, traditionally for direct contract agents with SFM, is scheduled to begin with lunch. 18 holes of “best ball” golf begins at 1 p.m. A cocktail reception and prize drawings will conclude the day. Invitations will be mailed the first week of August. Please call your SFM underwriter to be included on the invitation list.

| New contract agency appointments | ||
SFM appoints new contracts with agencies that are interested in writing directly with SFM and working in partnership toward common goals. SFM has direct contracts with 76 agencies in Minnesota and 38 in Wisconsin. New direct contracts, 1 st quarter In 2005, SFM appointed four new agencies in Minnesota and six in Wisconsin.
