SFM to host workplace safety seminar on trends and best practices

SFM, endorsed recently by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled to host the chamber’s June 25 seminar “Workplace safety: The latest issues and trends.”

The seminar is for members of the Minnesota Chamber, especially manufacturing companies.

Employers will learn about trends in workplace safety from experts including SFM Loss Prevention Team Leader Joe Morin.

A representative from Minnesota’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration will talk about common problems found in the workplace. Representatives from small, medium and large companies will share experiences and best practices in workplace safety during a panel discussion moderated by SFM President Bob Lund.
