SFM website, CompOnline enhancements set for release

State Fund Mutual's website is being significantly upgraded over the coming months, including upgrades to online reporting and CompOnline®.

Upgrades for agents include easier access to employers' e-mods and an easier-to-use "Resource catalog" from which you can order policyholder and prospect materials.

New functions will be available for employers who report work injuries by first logging in to CompOnline:

  • One is an auto-save function that allows a user to begin the First Report of Injury, then save it for completion later or by someone else.
  • A CompOnline user also will be able to go to a list of First Reports that have already been submitted and view or print them.

Enhancements also are planned for managing claims data within CompOnline:

  • Those include loss history charts that are more interactive and easier to generate and claims data screens with easier navigation to related information elsewhere.
  • Policyholders with multiple policy numbers will be able to access consolidated claims data.

Other website upgrades include enhanced capabilities for printing pages. Some of the enhancements are scheduled for release in October, others in January.

You can encourage SFM policyholders to take advantage of CompOnline. It's a powerful tool that gives policyholders internet access to their organization's entire workers' compensation claims database, including detailed information on individual claims. A video demo of CompOnline's features will be available on the website beginning in November.
