SFM's competitive pricing, effective cost control, and exceptional service are now available for your clients' operations in states outside Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
Obtaining coverage is easy
SFM needs:
- Loss experience
- Description of operations
- Location information
- Safety program detail
- Management experience
- Name and mailing address of the employer's out-of-state claims contact(s)
Submission options:
SFM will return a quote for all licensed states, including Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
A single policy will be issued covering all of the client's locations insured by SFM. Premium information for all states will be combined into one bill issued by SFM.
Servicing accounts
Work directly with your SFM underwriter on all multi-state issues and requests.
- Injury reporting
Injuries are reported to SFM the same way as any other claim.
- Claims handling
SFM handles Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin claims in-house. Claims outside these states are handled by
Gallagher Bassett Services Inc.
- Loss control
SFM's medical case management, utilization, bill review, medical networks, return to work and loss prevention services are highly effective in controlling workers' compensation costs. Similar services are available for policyholders' operations in other states.
- CompOnline®
Policyholders and their agents have password-protected, online access to claims and loss information regarding claims in all states.
