Scholarship applications due March 31;
SFM Foundation golf fundraiser set for June 29

Graduating high school students of parents injured or killed on the job may apply for 2010-11 college scholarships from SFM Foundation until March 31.

You can direct students to the Foundation website www.sfmic.com/foundation for information and the application form.

Agents, business partners and others are invited to sponsor or register for the Foundation's second annual "Golfing for Scholarships" fundraiser set for June 29 at Prestwick Golf Club in Woodbury, Minn.

Contributions can also be made directly to the Foundation, either electronically or via email.

The Foundation awards scholarships of up to $5,000 per student per year, renewable for up to five years. Last year, the beginning year for the Foundation, nine students were chosen as scholarship recipients from an impressive volume of applications that exceeded expectations.
