	20% new business commission promotion extended, expanded
	SFM is rewarding agents with 20 percent commission on new small business policies written from applications submitted online through SFM Application Manager (SAM). The special 20 percent commission is earned on policies up to $10,000 in premium with effective dates between Aug. 1 and Jan. 31. The online application system SAM is accessible through the agent login on SFM's website. About two-thirds of all smaller policies written by SFM are submitted online through SAM. "20 percent commission shows how much we appreciate agents utilizing SAM to send us their small business," said Dennis Logstrom, Small Business Accounts team leader. SFM has developed business systems that process and service small business accounts efficiently. Its Small Business Accounts team specializes in servicing more than 10,000 small business owners. The new 20 percent commission on small business policies comes on the heels of a special commission expiring July 31 on small policies in 40 mainstreet class codes. The new 20 percent commission beginning with Aug. 1 effective dates applies to all small policies submitted through SAM, without class code limits.
