Supervisor initiated training (SIT) series

Informal training tools supervisors can use to address hazard-specific topics.

What are SITs?

Our supervisor initiated training tools (also known as toolbox talks) are for supervisors to present to employees on specific safety hazards. Each SIT takes less than three minutes to present and reminds staff about important safety messages and procedures. Presenting them also gives your staff the opportunity to bring up concerns or questions.
