SFM partners with pharmacy benefit manager myMatrixx

BLOOMINGTON, Minn., July 17, 2017 — Starting today, SFM will be partnering with myMatrixx for pharmacy benefit management services. SFM policyholders will benefit from:

  • Significant savings on pharmacy costs
  • Clinical intervention programs to ensure your injured employees are getting the right prescription drugs for the right reasons

Injured workers will benefit by:

  • Getting prescription medications needed to treat work injuries with no out-of-pocket costs
  • Choosing from more than 65,000 retail pharmacies or mail delivery
  • Having access to a mobile app as well as 24/7/365 phone customer service

What employers need to know

Injured workers will receive automated phone calls soon after their claims are received by SFM that introduce myMatrixx and explain that a pharmacy card will be mailed out. If an injured worker needs prescription medication before the card arrives, they can use the pharmacy first fill form, available in the resource catalog.

Injured workers who are currently using pharmacy benefit services should have received welcome phone calls and new pharmacy cards in the mail. They will need to present the new cards at their pharmacies.
