Two Apple Valley High School eSTEM participants recently completed summer internships at SFM.
Interns Azraf Daiyan and Noah Becker assisted with a large scanning project to help transition an SFM department to a paperless environment. The project, which ran from mid-June to mid-August, involved scanning a large volume of paper files and converting them into imaged documents.
Students from the Apple Valley High School eSTEM program have visited SFM the last two years to learn about career opportunities in the insurance industry. Daiyan and Becker were given the opportunity for a more hands-on experience, and in the process helped SFM complete the scanning project ahead of schedule.
