Governors of Minnesota and Iowa proclaim Kids' Chance Awareness Week

The governors of Minnesota and Iowa have each announced that November 12-16, 2018 is to be officially known as Kids' Chance Awareness Week.

Both Governor Mark Dayton of Minnesota and Governor Kim Reynolds of Iowa have proclaimed a week of recognition for the important work that Kids' Chance of America performs for families of injured workers. The language of the proclamations specifies that they were issued "in order to increase the visibility of Kids' Chance organizations across the country and spread the word about scholarship opportunities."

Kids' Chance of America is a national nonprofit that creates, assists and supports organizations across the United States that provide educational opportunities and scholarships to the children of workers who were seriously injured or killed on the job.

SFM Foundation  is an affiliate of Kids' Chance of America, and is also known as Kids' Chance of Minnesota and Kids' Chance of Iowa.
