In response to customer feedback, we’re offering a streamlined report-only option when employers call the SFM Work Injury Hotline.
Employers who report injuries by phone during business hours (7 a.m. to 4 p.m. M-F) will now have the option to report the injury without speaking with a nurse. This is helpful in cases where the employer wants to report by phone, but the employee would not benefit from a treatment recommendation. This is a good option in cases where the employee has already sought medical treatment.
The option to speak with a nurse and also report the injury will still be available 24/7. Calls outside of business hours will automatically be taken by a nurse.
