Donation requests

An important way we make an impact in the community is by supporting nonprofit organizations through our charitable giving program. Donations can be direct gifts from SFM or through matching funds.

Organizations must be tax-exempt under IRC §501(c)(3) to request a donation. Preference is given to organizations in which SFM employees, directors or direct contract agents are involved. We will not contribute to individuals, religious organizations, fraternal organizations, political parties or action committees. We also won’t respond to donation requests for multi-year contributions.

We review and respond to each request within 60 days of receiving a completed application. Recipient organizations may be listed in our annual report and website.
