Train employees on their own time
Train your employees quickly, easily and on their own time through our online safety training system. It’s free for SFM policyholders and available for an additional fee for self-insured customers of SFM Risk Solutions. We contract with a third-party vendor, HSI, to provide this service.

Benefits
Engage employees with activities, simulations and knowledge checks. Track completed courses and test attempts. Customize courses by attaching your company policies. Track training in one system.
Format
Short online courses average 20 minutes and keep employees’ attention. Five-minute overview courses are also available for viewing.
Available courses
Train employees on more than 100 occupational safety and health topics. Environmental management, employment law, health care and transportation topics are also available.

Set up an account
If you’re a new user, click on the link below to email Heidi Schuman at HSI to set up an account. Make sure to identify yourself as an SFM Insurance Company policyholder and include your business name and policy number.
Important notes
- Initial account set up will begin within five business days, but there will be additional follow-up and training before your account is fully activated.
- The platform and training materials are made available to you as-is and are not a substitute for your safety programs or compliance requirements, including with OSHA.
- SFM is not liable for claims or losses related to your use of these materials.
- Keep your own records. Training records may not be available indefinitely, so download and save your own copies for compliance documentation.
