Exploring different career paths? SFM offers full-time business internships each summer. These are temporary roles and the perfect opportunity to launch a career in the insurance industry as part of a growing company.
Summer interns participate as active team members by projecting a professional and customer-friendly image of SFM while performing various functions to support their assigned department. They grow their critical thinking and time management skills and to apply them to various situations. Interns develop independent work habits and gain familiarity with SFM internal operations and best practices.

Meet business reporting and data needs through queries, reports and dashboards.
Underwriting
Work alongside underwriters to learn what goes into writing workers’ comp insurance policies.
Artificial intelligence
Work with machine learning models, analyze datasets, and integrate AI into real-life workflows.
